Business partners of SIMBF 2014 were the following Sevastopol companies: "Tekhflot" and "Marsol group". The Forum organizer was "U-EXPO" company.
As noted by the organizers of the II International Maritime Business Forum SIMBF 2014, its peculiarity was that every year it was realized out of politics. Objective of the Forum was to help its participants in the businesses development of their enterprises, companies and organizations, in establishing of strong business relationships, and in exchange of experience.
The first day of the Forum was opened and organized at halls of "Sevastopol Institute of Bank Affairs" in Sevastopol city in Parkovaya str., 6:

SIMBF 2014 addressed the following issues, affected the development of the international Maritime business:
- Analysis of development prospects for maritime business in the Black and Azov seas Russian region in the context of international sanctions and unstable geopolitical situation;
- Prospects for ship repair and shipbuilding enterprises in Sevastopol and Crimea in a competitive environment for markets and customers in the Black Sea, the Azov Sea and the Mediterranean Basin;
- Modern equipment and services for enterprises, included to maritime clusters.

Participants of the Forum were the first persons of companies and institutions, representatives of the state authorities and other international organizations, interested in a business development and establishment of strong business contacts.
Other days of the Forum were conducted on a ground at Sevastopol and Crimean enterprises in September 25-26.
As a result of the Forum there were made principal theses and written open letters to the United Nations Organization Secretary-General, Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization, Permanent Secretary of the International Association of Classification Societies and other appropriate international and intergovernmental organizations and associations.
More than 70 enterprises, ports, terminals, plants, shipyards, scientific organizations, publishers, medias, governmental organizations, ministries, TV channels and other companies from Russia, Belorussia, Ukraine and Europe participated in the II International Maritime Business Forum
SIMBF 2014.

The III International Maritime Business Forum SIMBF 2015 will take part in Sevastopol at the same grounds in June 9-12, 2015.
